Multi-Registrar API Support

Whereas other drop-catching software only work with one registrar, requiring you to purchase new software for each account, with tokenized URL’s the new Snatcher 2 is compatible with any API registrar, including Fabulous, Dyndadot, or any service supporting custom REST-based API registration calls. We currently have customized Dynadot API support built-in to Snatcher, and as you probably know, Dynadot released their free (no minimum spending limit) API in January of 2012. We also have customized Fabulous support built right in. We are continuing to add APIs as the registrars grant access, so stay tuned as more will be frequently added.

Queue Unlimited Domains for Snatching

Load up the domain drop box with as many domains as you want – Snatcher has no limit on the amount of domains in your queue. Be careful though, the more domains you are snatching simultaneously, the less bandwidth you have allotted per domain, so it is probable you will get slower speeds this way. With more competitive domains it is advisable that you keep only one in the Drop Box at a time.

International Domain Name Dropcatching

Snatcher 2 now supports IDN dropcatching. However, you must use the Dynadot API as your registrar and your desired domain must be converted from Unicode to Punycode. Verisign Has created an online tool for doing just this. » Versign IDN Conversion Tool *Your WHOIS Gateway within Snatcher must also be set to use N3TWORK.com as opposed to the default Verisign connection.

Snatcher’s all new Javascript-powered Scheduled Tasks replace complicated Cron Jobs and allow you to launch Snatcher at any given time of day in the future (up to a 5 days). As long as the Snatcher 2 tab is open in a browser tab somewhere and pop-up blocking is disabled, Snatcher will reliably launch at whatever time/date you schedule it to! Get ahead of the game.

Perform Domain WHOIS Queries & Obtain Vital Metrics From Within Snatcher

Snatcher’s in-application AJAX-based WHOIS lookup system will look-up domains instantly and output the raw WHOIS data inside the console for you. This simple tool requires no refreshing of the browser, is extremely unobtrusive, and will also reveal the drop date of pending delete domains.

Daily Downloadable Lists of Domains

Like always, we have our daily lists of downloadable pending Delete domain names available right off the toolbar. We store 5 days worth of future deleting domains lists, starting with the present day. Keep in mind these are the raw and unfiltered lists containing every TLD due for deletion that particular day, so they can be extremely large.

Snatcher Pop-up Technology

Snatcher 2 uses Snatcher’s familiar pop-up technology when Snatching domains. However, don’t let the look of it fool you. The code has been entirely streamlined and revamped from the bottom up. Snatcher is virtually bulletproof in its stability. It is also significantly faster (often as fast as 300ms between WHOIS requests), much more powerful and intuitive.

We all know how long and monotonous the daily pending delete lists can be. With up to 150,000 TLDs dropping daily, its nearly impossible to scan the drop list without a filter. That’s exactly what Sitespotter does. Its first filtration system is obtaining only dictionary word or dictionary word combination based domains. This gets the list down to a very manageable portion.
